As our city grows larger, most newly built Scottsdale luxury homes are found in the outer edges. However, every now and then new communities come available as home builders purchase smaller lots closer to the heart of the city. These infill communities are very exciting as they offer brand new homes in an established location. It’s also great to see development on land that’s been vacant for a long time. Camelot Homes, a luxury home builder based in Scottsdale, purchased several such lots to build three new gated communities.
About Camelot Homes
Camelot Homes has been building luxury homes in Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area for over 50 years. They received first place in the 2022 Homebuyer’s Choice Awards for purchase experience. As well, they ranked in the top 5 home builders in their category for design experience, first year customer service experience, best customer communication and overall home purchase & ownership experience. In addition to subdivisions, Camelot Homes builds custom luxury homes and remodels existing homes.
The first and largest community, Aura, will have 12 homes. Aura is an 8.5 acre parcel located at the SE corner of 128th St & Shea Blvd. A big draw to this community is the new BASIS school across the street. The floor plans range between 1,800 and 3,500 square feet.
The second community, The Collection, will be built on the NE corner of 74th St & Valley View Rd. This community is 4.7 acres and will have 8 homes. This is a great location very close to Old Town Scottsdale with all of its shopping, dining, and entertainment options nearby. Camelot Homes partnered with Bob White of Forest Studio to design the homes. The floor plans range between 4,000 and 6,000 square feet.
The third community, Legacy, is the last 3.1 acre parcel in DC Ranch. DC Ranch is a beautiful neighborhood in North Scottsdale surrounded by the McDowell Sonoran Preserve with gorgeous desert views and a quick drive to the Scottsdale Quarter. Legacy calls for 9 homes with floor plans between 2,800 and 3,500 square feet. Woodley Architectural Group is designing the homes in contemporary or desert modern styles.
Camelot Homes has not yet released additional information about pricing or specific floor plans. They expect to break ground during the fourth quarter of 2022.
This is exciting for buyers who want the convenience of living in an established location with all of the amenities found in a modern home.
